Tagging is a way to find contracts. Instead of using sales chat to find a buyer/supplier you can use Tags to designate what you are looking for to BUY or SELL.

To make a Tag you need to go your Public Profile.

Clicking on your Avatar (pfp) in the upper right corner or in chat, will take you to your Public Profile.

Once you are on your Public Profile look for Search Tags and the EDIT button.

Clicking on the Edit button will bring up the Add Search Tag menu. You can choose to either BUY or SELL any product in the game. Once you select your option it will appear on your profile above the Edit button.

Removing Tags is the same process as adding a tag. Open the Add Search Tag menu with the Edit button and select the product(s) that you already have tagged to remove the tags.

FINDING CONTRACTS

To find companies that are buying or selling with the Tagging system you can access the search through the Exchange. The option is the second icon on the top row that looks like a money.

Opening the TAG SEARCH will show the current tags of the item you are looking at in the exchange. When opening the Exchange the default product is Power. If you were looking at Limestone; then Limestone tags would show when opening the TAG SEARCH menu.

When searching for tags you can choose either BUY or SELL or do both. To remove the current search products click on the BUY or SELL items under “Listing companies with tags:”
Typing in the items will bring up options to select BUY or SELL for the products.

You can search many products at one time. In the example below this search is looking for Research.

Tip: After setting a search; bookmark it.

BUYING MORE TAGS

Every company starts with 1 tag.

To purchase more tags you will need to be using all of your available tags to bring up the options to buy more at the top of the Add Search Tag menu.

Each new tag is worth 200 Sim Boosts.

There are a max of 4 tags per company.

This is a helpful tool that can help you to set up a production line of products.

Renamed buildings are client side (only you can see the edited name).

Tip: keep track of abundances in quarries, mines, and oil rigs. Excellent way to know how much abundance has decreased over time.

Reposition Buildings

Can reposition buildings.  Open any building on your map by clicking on them. A menu will pop up and a number of selections will be available to you. Select reposition to move buildings on your map.

When repositioning buildings they will disappear from your map and a construction slot will be in place of the building.

You can see these buildings have already been renamed.

Can re-arrange your entire map!

Tip: reposition your buildings to setup production lines or pipelines of products.

NOTES

You can keep anything you want in your notes.  It is just like a notepad. Keep important information or a schedule, to even sales/buying lists for sales chat.

:re-16: q0+ [silicon]

RE-number needs to be used when copying from your notes to sales chats

DICE ROLLS

In chat we are able to roll dice. Mainly used for Roleplaying (chatrooms); but have been used for fun to predict economy changes.

Syntax for the Dice rolls:

:roll-XdY:

X = number of rolls, Y = number of sides

Number of Rolls 1 to 20
Dice Sides 1 to 100

Number in parenthesis (XXXX) is the total sum of the rolls.

CHARTS

All the charts in game can be manipulated.  Can turn on/off products and items that have a box corresponding to a chart.  And can zoom into a certain time frame. This includes the chart in your Headquarters (HQ).

To reset the graph, click the show all button in the top right.
