Building Auctions
In the dynamic and fast-paced world of business, the ability to pivot and seek out new opportunities is essential for success. The bigger the company, the harder and more costly it is for big changes. Building Auctions, allow companies to experiment or change industries more conveniently.

A 20% fee is deducted from winning bid at the end of the auction.
It costs Sim Boosts to add more than one building to be auctioned at a time (It is free to send one (1) building to auction). It costs fifteen (15) Sim Boosts for the second building sent to auction, and thirty (30) Sim Boosts for each additional building sent to Auction.
Buyer
Buyers can bid on any number of Buildings.
Buyers do not need an empty building slot to bid or win an auction.
Bid(s) are resolved when auction ends. Bids can be taken down at any time during the auction.
Bid(s) are disqualified if there is not enough money at the end of the auction.
All information will be provided on each Building up for auction. (Level, Type, Rating, Seating, Abundance, Robots, and Minimum Bid.)
Buyers can purchase Similar Auction information on past auctions for 10 Sim Boosts. The purchase lasts 24 hours and is per building type (buying Similar Auction for restaurants means you have the information shown for recent restaurant auctions).

No Bidders; building is bought by NPC. Minimum bid minus the 20% fee is given to the seller.
Building won is placed into Reposition Queue (to be placed by player). The Reposition Queue is limited to 35 buildings; limited control over the buildings; and counts towards Administration Overhead.
The Reposition Queue will show on the map in the lower right corner if there is at least one (1) building in the Reposition Queue.
Building(s) won in auction that are in the Reposition Queue can be scrapped or sent back to Building Auctions. Note: buildings with robots can not be scrapped from the Reposition Queue.
In order to place a building from the Reposition Queue; there needs to be an empty construction slot.
When building is placed, building will show as Commissioning. The time required is Level multiplied by the base build time. (e.g. level 10 factory will take 30 hours). Buildings with Robots do not add to the Commissioning time.
